Pablo Huidobro Martínez

Pablo was a graduate of the Diego Portales University Law School. He earned a Master’s Degree in Criminal Law and Criminal Sciences from the University of Barcelona and Pompeu Fabra University (Spain, 2001–2002), and completed several postgraduate diplomas in criminal law at Alberto Hurtado University and the University of Navarra.

He joined FIHS Abogados in 1998 and was an essential part of our team for over two decades. His professional career included positions as a criminal lawyer for the State Defense Council (1998–2004) and the Public Criminal Defense Office (2005–2008), accumulating more than 25 years of experience in litigation, always committed to a rigorous and ethical defense.

In academia, Pablo was a dedicated professor, teaching Criminal Law at Universidad del Desarrollo since 2008. He also taught at the Judicial Academy of Chile, delivering the Criminal Law course in the Judges’ Training Program since 2015, as well as courses on oral litigation skills and criminal procedural law.

We remember with admiration his generosity, professional integrity, and his unwavering dedication to training new generations of lawyers with passion and commitment. His personal and professional legacy will live on in all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.
