Degree in Law and Social Sciences, Universidad de Chile, Santiago – Chile; LL.M in International Law, Trade, Investment and International Arbitration, University of Heidelberg, Germany; Diploma on the legal regime of Public Works Concessions, Universidad del Desarrollo – Santiago – Chile; Master in Economics and Management for Lawyers (M.E.G.A.), Universidad Gabriela Mistral, Santiago – Chile. More than 35 years working in the real estate and construction area, providing legal advice in all stages of business for construction companies and companies in the real estate sector.

He is director of real estate, service, hotel and tourism companies. He has been a member of the Chilean Supreme Court. He is President of the Legislation Commission of the Chilean Chamber of Construction. He has been legal advisor to ACOP – National Chamber of Real Estate Services AG. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Recognized by Chambers and Partners Latin-American 2012-2023 as an outstanding professional in the real estate sector in Chile; and by the publication Who’s Who Legal: Construction 2020- 2023. Arbitrator in private and public infrastructure construction matters, especially in arbitrations managed by the ICC and the ICDR, in Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile, especially in construction, engineering and energy matters. Arbitrator in Public Works Concessions in Chile; Arbitrator of the arbitration body of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, since 1998, acting especially in disputes relating to construction contracts, real estate and commercial matters in general, in more than 60 arbitrations; and has acted as arbitrator in disputes between private parties in civil, commercial and real estate matters, as well as arbitrator in the liquidation of inherited communities and companies. He has been Chairman of 4 panels of Dispute Boards in the mining construction industry in Chile.

Academic experience.

Professor in postgraduate courses at Universidad de los Andes (Academic Director of Real Estate Law Diploma and Construction Law Diploma), lecturer at Heidelberg Center for Latin America (Arbitration), visiting professor in several courses and diploma courses on topics such as construction contracts, dispute resolution, construction arbitration and real estate issues.
